I am a graphic designer with a focus on designing branding, advertising and publications using Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. The ideation phase is the most important part of my process. I plan my designs by first taking into consideration the clients needs, getting an idea of the mood they want to set and the impression they want to make on their audience. Then I can begin the process of visually communicating their message.

I believe visual communication to be at the core of all design. In my work I seek to implement this in a variety of ways. Through color and color combinations I am able to evoke specific emotions. Based on my typography choices I can control the mood of a design, for example using more decorative and organic fonts for more playful brands and more utilitarian and geometric fonts for more serious ones. Through my imagery choices I convey the story of my design, by setting the tone or even providing information.

Due to having different design goals for different projects, my work is not unified under a specific style, but rather the style of the thing I’m designing for. This allows me to constantly shift my design approach and look at design from a new perspective each time I begin a new project.
